School Governors

Our governors are committed, hardworking members of the school community who work for the benefit of all our children to ensure that we attain the highest possible standards of achievement within a positive, safe and caring environment.
Governors serve for a period of four years. They are responsible for the general oversight of the school and involved in, amongst other things, the curriculum, finance, health and safety, appointment of staff and the maintenance of building and grounds. They meet at least once a term and visit the school regularly.
Governors receive a termly report of school life prepared by the Headteacher. An Annual report of the Governor’s activities is presented and discussed at a meeting in the Autumn term to which all parents are invited.
