Senior School

Whilst all our pupils aged 3-16 are on the same site, we aim to create a special identity for our 11-16 year olds. As such, they have their own uniform which they chose and helped to design and which they are very proud of.

Seniors have lessons in all subjects as well as starting to learn French.

We have a school council elected by the seniors and a house system where house points can mean winning a very large cup for your team!

There is a great emphasis on independence and life skills. Our pupils follow accredited schemes of work using the National Skills Profile and Accreditation for Life and Living. We all look forward to seeing Seniors be awarded with their certificates when they leave.

We have close links with our local secondary school Plymstock school, where our Seniors go weekly for sports and French and we are now adding ICT.

We work closely with the Connexions service and post 16 provision to help all of our Seniors when they move on to the college of their choice.
